GP 2016: Nootsara makes a set despite serious ankle injury! (VIDEO)

by WoV

She could barely stand on her feet, but Nootsara Tomkom still tried everything to win this point for her Thailand…

One more serious ankle injury occurred during the past volleyball weekend. After Maxwell Holt who twisted his ankle in the FIVB World League match, the same thing happened to Thai star Nootsara Tomkom in the FIVB Grand Prix clash against Italy.

Nootsara went for a block, but then she landed right on the foot of her teammate and suffered a bad-looking ankle injury. Still, Thai setter stayed on the court until the end of the point and she even made a one-handed fist-set, despite barely standing on her feet.

We wish Nootsara a speedy recovery!
