Ricardo Lucarelli. Brazil are holding the top spot at the standings together with Serbia, as they are the only two teams with the maximum score so far in the FIVB World League 2016. Many credits for that score go to Ricardo Lucarelli, who played in all three games and had impressive stats. Young Brazilian star made 16 points against Iran, 19 points against Argentina and 17 points against USA.
Uroš Kovačević. As we have previously mentioned, Serbia are at the top of the table with 3 wins out of the 3 games! The red-blue-white crew have downed powerful opponents such as Russia, Poland and Bulgaria, while Uroš Kovačević marked 2 out of those 3 games. He was the top scorer of his team in the victory against Bulgaria with 18 points, while he was the third-best scorer of Serbia in the win against Poland with 11 points.
Benjamin Toniutti. French setter played on 2 out of 3 games of his team and he was brilliant as always. After all, Toniutti is leading the all-setters stats so far in the competition, while his France are currently holding the 3rd place on the standings.
Dmitriy Muserskiy. This is the good-old Muserskiy we all know. Russian middle blocker is simply dominant at the net, while some of his spikes passes way above the block and ends up by smashing into the rival’s side of the court. In all three games of his team he was the 2nd best scorer of Russia.
Erik Shoji. When you look at the Best Diggers stats at the FIVB World League 2016 official website, you will find the name of Erik Shoji at the top of the list. USA libero was always in the right place, at the right time, while his excellent performance helped the American crew to score 2 wins out of 3 matches.
