Whoever watched the FIVB World League 2016 match between Iran and Serbia, could see women sitting on the stands and watching the game live from the Hall! It seemed that they were put in a special section on the stands, but still it is a big improvement in comparison to the time when women were strictly forbidden of entering the gym during volleyball games.
According to ABC news, the Iranian federation said Friday’s matches were sold out within five minutes, and that 466 of the 5,000 tickets were allotted for a section set aside for women.
We can only add – FINALLY!

You can write the history from when you want, but the truth is different. Only a few years ago (less than 7) the women were allowed to enter volleyball and basketball halls and watch the matches directly. Even 15 years ago Iranian girls had the permission of attending the games and cheering along with guys. The prohibition has imposed since five years ago. I’m agreed that it’s an improvement but not historic.
No they are not Iranian women! I was there and they didn’t allow me to enter!!! they are related to Iran Federation!! we can’t go to stadiums yet!!
those women work for IRIVF or they are related to whom works for IRIVF! women can’t come and see the games
