CL M: PGE Skra Belchatow somehow beat Ziraat without Mariusz Wlazly!

The rival Ziraat Bankasi came to surprise the rival and they managed to do it only in the second set. 

PGE Skra BELCHATOW opened game much better. They started controling the game in front of their fans and after the first set on the scoreboard there was 25-19 result.

But, in the second set, we saw an answer of the team from Ankara. Althouth Skra had 20-17 lead, Falasca’s side somehow let it slip. Ziraat managed to make comeback and to take the lead 21-20! Afterwards, they got the first set point (24-23) but Skra saved it and Rodriguez brought his team very close to 2-0 lead. But, the same player hit the antenna (25-25). Ziraat won another two rallies, tied the score in sets 1:1 (27:25).

At the beginning of the third set, we saw a “point by point” game until the result 10:10, when home team started melting the rival. Quickly, Skra got four-point lead and Ziraat couldn’t make comeback like in the second set.

In the fourth set Ziraat dominated all the time, had three point lead 20-17, but Skra somehow managed to make comeback and later to win the match. Facundo Conte finished match in style, by scoring an ace to use match point for the win!

Mariusz Wlazly didn’t play in this match…
