During summer 2017, the Russian outside hitter moved from Dinamo Moscow to Belogorie, but after suffering an injury while being on international duty, the team from Belgorod terminated a contract with Biryukov.
At the official website of Nova they didn’t report if he is ready to play immediately or he still needs time to recover.
The World League 2011 winner wore jerseys of Belogorie, Metaloinvest, Gazprom Yugra, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk and Dinamo Moscow.
