Sometimes there are scenes during a volleyball game that cast a shadow on the encounter itself. Unfortunately. But, in the case of Brayelin Martínez, everything went well at the end.

A receiver of the Women’s Volleyball National Team of Dominican Republic collapsed out of the blue during the match against Japan in the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix – Group 1, yesterday. It didn’t look good as her face seemed lifeless before she was carried off the court, while players of both teams started to cry.

A day after experiencing such a discomfort, Martínez assured her fans she was feeling well.

„Thank God I am feeling well now and I thank you all for your support,“ Dominican NT member posted on social networks.

Regardless to this, as a as a precautionary measure, Martínez will probably be sidelined for the game of last round of Week 1, against Thailand (today, 20:30 CET).
