After the first matches of the quarterfinals in the men’s competition at the A1 CEV EuroBeachVolley Vienna 2021, Piotr Kantor and Bartosz Losiak from Poland and Stefan Boermans and Yorick de Groot from the Netherlands advanced to the semifinals.
The Polish team reached the top four by defeating Spanish team Pablo Herrera and Adrian Gavira 2-0 (21-18, 21-19) in the first match of the quarterfinals.
Boermans and de Groot needed all three sets 2-1 (21-16, 16-21, 15-10) to beat Ondrej Perusic and David Schweiner in the second quarterfinal.
