After the women’s final, there were two more quarterfinal matches in the men’s competition on the A1 CEV EuroBeachVolley Vienna 2021 schedule.
Norwegians Anders Mol and Christian Sorum advanced to the semifinals where they will play against Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen from the Netherlands.
Brouwer and Meeuwsen were better than Germans Ehlers and Pfretzschner in three sets 2-1 (21-19, 13-21, 15-11) while Mol and Sorum defeated Russians Semenov and Leshukov also in three sets 2-1 (18-21, 21-18, 15-8).
