What a weekend in Utrecht! In front of a buzzing crowd, Dutch stars Brouwer/Van de Velde and Brazilian power duo Vitória/Hege claimed the King & Queen of the Court Utrecht 2025 titles after two heart-pounding finals.
Vitória and Hege were simply unstoppable in the women’s final, dominating from the first serve to the last. They hit 15 points with time to spare, leaving the rest in the sand. Dutch team Konink/Schoon and Van Driel/Bekhuis took silver and bronze.
The men’s final? A total rollercoaster. After a slow start, Brouwer/Van de Velde found their rhythm just in time, then stormed the final round with cool heads and sharp plays. They overtook a strong Australian team to seal their first-ever crown.
This Utrecht stop marked the third event of the Crown Series, following Tenerife and Hamburg. With 20,000+ fans tuning in and live coverage in 90+ countries, beach volleyball just keeps getting bigger.
