On the men’s side, Brazil’s Evandro Oliveira & Arthur Lanci thrilled home fans with a 2-0 (21-15, 27-25) victory over France’s Rémi Bassereau & Calvin Aye. Boermans & De Groot of the Netherlands sealed bronze after beating compatriots Van de Velde & Brouwer.
