Queen & King of the Court wraps up 2025 with a dazzling Christmas edition in Finland

Helsinki is set to swap snow for sand this December as the Queen & King of the Court tournament arrives at Biitsi Salmisaari Sports Center on December 19–20, 2025. The much-anticipated Christmas Edition promises a spectacular blend of elite beach volleyball, festive lights, and Finnish flair — all under one indoor roof.
The event marks the second and final indoor stop of the 2025 season, following its London debut earlier this year. The Salmisaari arena will transform into a winter beach wonderland, complete with glowing lights, upbeat music, and courtside seating that puts fans right in the heart of the action.
Among the stars hitting the sand are Finland’s own Anniina Parkkinen and Prihti, fresh off their gold medal win in Nuvali, alongside global talents such as Latvia’s Edgar Tocs and Argentina’s Olympian Nicolás Capogrosso.
Known for its thrilling format, Queen & King of the Court brings five teams to one court, competing in a fast-paced, timed knockout battle that keeps the energy high and the crowd roaring.
Beyond the games, fans can indulge in a luxury experience — from live cooking in the VIP area to relaxing in an exclusive event sauna, showcasing Finland’s signature touch of hospitality.
“We’re thrilled to end the season in Helsinki,” said Ilkka Lassila, co-founder of Beachboard. “This event is our chance to celebrate the sport, our community, and the festive season in true Finnish style.”
With just 450 seats available and limited VIP packages, organizers expect a quick sell-out. For those looking to celebrate the holidays with sand, stars, and sport, this event promises to be the perfect finale to the 2025 beach volleyball season.
