Due to a calf injury, Chaumont VB 52 Haute Marne opposite Stéphen Boyer will not be able to play the 1st leg of the Playoffs 12 against Diatec Trentino (20:30 C.E.T.).

A 21-year-old player of the French titleholders sustained the injury in the national cup final last weekend.

“It’s more awkward than we supposed. At first, we thought of cramps. He passed several tests that showed a problem with the calf, a kind of contracture or a beginning of tearing. He needs to rest for a few days,” Chaumont president Bruno Soirfeck explained.

Boyer is the second best scorer of the 2018 Champions League group stage with 130 points.
