TSV Unterhaching
The VBL board unanimously approved the application for the 1st division for the 2020/21 season.
Previously, the ten other men’s first division teams had unanimously voted for the four-time DVV Cup winner. This marks the start of the new season for the men’s Bundesliga with eleven teams.
„With TSV Unterhaching, a traditional location is returning to the 1st division, which has had some successes in the past. The Hachinger concept of building a team with young German players during the Corona period and foregoing expensive foreign players convinced the board to give this additional license, ”said VBL President Michael Evers.
