It could have been one of the biggest comebacks on Women's Club Championships... But host survived the last attack of Brazilians. Volero - Sesi 3-2 (25-12, 25-18, 16-25, 15-25, 15-10).

Tie-break was a true picture of the complete match. Volero had the lead of 8-4, and was heading towards two points. But, Sesi again managed to return “from the dead”.

Team from Sao Paulo reduced the deficit to a single point 9-8, 10-9… But, there was no more strength in away squad. Volero took over the control in crucial moments and wrote down a win at the start of the tournament.

For Zurich team Olesia Rykhliuk scored 25 points, while Kenia Carceres added 13. The most efficient players in Sesi were Fabiana Claudino with 14 and Suelle Oliveira with 11 points.
