Trentino vs. UPCN
Italians made quite a comeback in the fifth set. They were trailing by 1-4, but have never thought about surrender. Trentino tied the score at 7-7, then took the lead at 10-9.
The block has done the rest of the job. UPCN faced “walls” twice in a row, Sokolov added strong spike… it was 14-10… Two points for the European side.
Tsvetan Sokolov made 26 points for Trentino, while Filippo Lanza added 15. On the other side, Argentine team was led by Theo Lopes with 24 and Bogdan Olteanu with 23 points.
Standings after two rounds: Al Rayyan 6, UPCN 4, Trentino 2, Esperance 0.
