Dutch pair Stefan Boermans and Yorick de Groot secured bronze by defeating Italian Olympians Paolo Nicolai and Samuele Cottafava 2-0 (21-18, 21-13).
In the women’s competition, Swiss Olympic bronze medalists Nina Brunner and Tanja Hüberli showcased their exceptional form, overcoming Germany’s Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann 2-1 (21-18, 18-21, 18-16) in a thrilling final. The bronze medal went to Brazilian newcomers Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes, who edged out Italy’s Marta Menegatti and Valentina Gottardi 2-0 (21-19, 21-19).
