WoV Poll
After one week of voting, which was the first of two stages into which our Poll is divided, you have chosen three candidates that will continue to run for the WoV Player of 2017. In the Men’s competition, these are Yoandy Leal 5,261 (32.5%) votes, Maksim Mikhailov 4,744 (29.3%) votes and Osmany Juantorena 2,188 (13.5%). Earvin Ngapeth with 2,079 (12.9%) votes and Wilfredo León with 1,886 (11.7%) votes no longer compete.
As for the Women’s competition for WoV Player of 2017, Zhu Ting got the largest number of votes so far 67,904 (50.3%) and will continue to run along with Tijana Bošković 45,601 (33.8%) and Milena Rašić 9,211 (6.8%). Unfortunately, two players had to leave the Poll and they are Elitsa Vasileva 8,509 (6.3%) and Natalia Pereira 3,829 (2.8%).
The second stage of voting started today and will last until December 30. We will nominate the winners on the last day of 2017!
