La Union-UPCN
The UPCN began pressuring from the start of the set and took a slight advantage to reach the first break. Locals, with the help of Alexander Moreno tried to return to the game but the visit team seemed invulnerable. UPCN from the service kept his distance until the second technical timeout. UPCN finished first set 25 to 22.
In the second set UPCN San Juan quickly took advantage. With a partial 5:1 (two blocks of Evandro Guerra) took over the game and continued hurting home team with service and great defenses. At the break it was 8:2 for the UPCN. Finaly UPCN San Juan won the second set 25:19.
Unlike the first two sets in the third La Unión de Formosa starts to play much better. Local team managed to equal the score with two good technical services by Gustavo Scholtis. Before the second break for the first time in the match La Unión de Formosa lead, thanks to a great defense and Gustavo Scholtis good play. La Union ended third set 25:22.
Formosa started the fourth set with 2:0 lead, but UPCN quickly turned with kick session from Guerra (8:3). After the rest and after a great service from Scholtis, La Union leveled the score. At the end UPCN ended up winning the set 25:23 and match.
