Conte, a bronze medalist at the 2020 Olympics and the son of 1988 Olympic bronze medalist Hugo Conte, expressed his pride in his long career. “This might have been my last volleyball match. I wanted to end it with the Argentine flag on my chest during the Olympics. Although we didn’t achieve the result I hoped for in Paris, I’m proud to have represented my country for so long,” he said in an interview.

Throughout his career, Conte played in various leagues around the world, including Argentina, Italy, Russia, Poland, Qatar, and Brazil. His last season was with the Argentine club Ciudad.
