Argentina improved their win-loss record to 2-1 in Pool B of the XI Women’s Pan American Cup by defeating hosts Mexico 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-21) on Saturday. The home team fell to 0-3.

Natasha Busquets and Georgina Pinedo led Argentina with 14 and 10 points respectively while Lucia Fresco chipped in 9 points. Mexico’s Alejandra Isiordia finished with 13 points and Lizbeth Sainz added 8.
