Ciudad v. UPCN
Bronze medalists from the recent South American Club Championship were led by Bulgarian opposite hitter Nikolay Uchikov who was their top scorer with 16 points, while his colleague on the other side, Federico Martina had 17.
Second placed Personal Bolívar finished regular stage (played one game more than other teams) with tough win as visitors against La Unión de Formosa 3-2 (25-20, 17-25, 17-25, 25-17, 15-9). The Cuban from Bolívar, Michael Sánchez Bozhulev, scored game-high 32 points. Javier Vega had 24 in Formosa who will go to playoffs from 5th position in the standings.
There is only one doubt about playoff particiapants. Ninth placed UNTREF Vóley defeated direct rivals for 8th place, PSM Vóley. So, now, the final round will decide it all. UNTREF will have to beat last placed Alianza Jesús María on road and to hope that PSM will lose home game versus Lomas Vóley.
