As Marcelo Hespaña from globoesporte.globo.com revealed, two best Brazilian teams at the moment, Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei and Funvic/Taubaté, are negotiating with Simón.

Since the two teams will probably meet in Superliga playoff finals, they want to ensure greater chances for themselves in that clash by hiring Cuban middle blocker/opposite from Korean champions Ansan OK SavingsBank Rush&Cash VC.

As Hespaña wrote in his blog, Cruzeiro have slightly better starting position in the battle for Simón due to fact that Taubaté’s budget is almost drained. In case that Cruzeiro hire the Cuban, their middle blocker Éder Carbonera might go to Taubaté.
