First they defeated Santa Fe, then Cordoba in the final match to end cheering their second consecutive national championship. Chaco meanwhile won the Bronze Medal.
The last day was outstanding with Estudiantes venue overcrowded and many delegations still at the site in a perfect closing ceremony and over all, the live broadcasting for the whole country done by the local television, with great work and the competition being watched in all different places of Argentina (the best way to develop volleyball from the poorest to the richest point of the country).
Metropolitan overcame in the morning Santa Fe 3-1 as it happened in the final match in San Juan 2011 qualifying for the final match. On the other side, Cordoba needed a tie-break definition to defeat Chaco and arrive as two years ago, to the final match.
Chaco then got great leadership over Santa Fe to win the Bronze Medal while Buenos Aires province team won the fifth place over Formosa; San Juan the seventh place (in a four teams pool) and Rio Negro finished on the 11th also winning its fourth teams pool.
The final match was very exciting as Cordoba was leading the series 2-0 with great digging and spiking but Metro found its momentum and with Soria leading on the third set they won confidence and the match after two match points at the fourth set.
On the fifth set they got a quick lead and even though Cordoba kept fighting it ended with a clear 15-11 and a second consecutive celebration for the Buenos Aires city team.
