The organization success that showed the U 14 National Championship held for both genders in the city of Santa Rosa, capital of La Pampa province, also exhibited an unusual fact, that one of the grass-root competitions organized by the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) was live broadcasted by the local television for different parts of the country.

The channel LU 89 TV – 3 La Pampa was in charge of the live broadcasting and of course, the matches played by the host team at Club Estudiantes and the final matches during the last day for the gold medals and the awards for individual output were shown to viewers around the country.

The initiative was highly welcomed. On one side the quality of the transmition with several cameras with different views from the playing field, the good image level and the interviews as soon as the matches ended included also some done prior to the matches and some to the officials and athletes that participated of this event.

The second fact, and maybe more important was that this event broadcasted to different cities in different parts of the whole country goes along with the federative goal of the new management of the FeVA. Fourteen provinces could watch live the event including important places like Río Gallegos, Córdoba, Tucumán, Formosa, Catamarca, La Plata, Trenque Lauquen, Ushuaia, Rawson, General Roca and La Rioja, among others.

Just one sample of the success of such broadcasting, at the final boys match that finished with Santa Fe winning the title is that to La Pampa arrived thank messages of the people of Villa Ocampo, a Santa Fe volleyball city, that gave some of his volleyball players as part of the winning team. The fact that they could watch directly “their” players compete has no price.
