Ciudad Voley claimed the Lüsqtoff Supercup title at the “Casa del Vóley” by defeating River Plate 3-0 in the final. Monteros secured third place, overcoming Defensores de Banfield in the day’s opening match.
The final saw Ciudad start strong, while River tried to close the gap. Despite a challenging second set, Ciudad held their ground, with Hernán Ferraro’s team dominating the third set to seal the victory, led by Germán Gómez’s 17 points. The match ended 3-0 with scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-19.
In the battle for third place, Monteros opened with momentum, and after a tight contest, edged out Defensores de Banfield with scores of 25-15, 25-27, 25-22, and 28-26, led by Joaquín Layus’s 25 points.
The season now moves forward to the ACLAV Cup, starting Thursday in Zárate.
