In a rescheduled match of the Russian Volleyball Championship’s 13th round (Superliga), Zenit Kazan pulled off a 3-1 comeback victory over Dynamo-LO on the road. Coach Aleksey Verbov rested some players including Micah Christenson and Maxim Mikhaylov.

Although Zenit dominated 73% of attacks in the first set, they struggled with reception, allowing Dynamo-LO to clinch the set. However, Zenit adjusted in the second set, with strong serves from Dmitriy Volkov propelling them ahead. Dynamo’s Οsniel Melgarejo Hernández suffered an injury, weakening their offensive.

Zenit Kazan’s Kirill Klets emerged as the match’s top scorer with 22 points, while Volkov contributed significantly, maintaining an impressive 63% attack success rate. This victory marked Zenit Kazan’s ninth consecutive win, keeping them unbeaten in the championship.
