Salvo Scolaro
Born in 1987, Scolaro is the only local boy left in the roster. He had various spells in Brolo: from 2004 to 2006 when the team was promoted in B1, then from 2006-08, and finally after a season in Molfetta he returned in 2010, helping the team win Brescia’s cup final four and the promotion into the A2.
“I took up volleyball for a laugh and look where I’ve arrived now! – said Scolaro – Being the only Sicilian team in the A2, I think this this a privilege for me and Brolo to show our worth at this important level of competition.
I am the only one from here, this is a big responsibility but I am proud of it. I will fight for the shirt and for the people that believed in this project and that believed something big could be achieved”.
