Legendary Argentine volleyball star Facundo Conte has officially ended his illustrious career, capping it with a decisive 3-0 victory for Ciudad Voley against Vélez Sarsfield in his final match. The 35-year-old volleyball star leaves behind a legacy marked by numerous titles and achievements.
Conte’s career has stretched over two decades, including standout performances in Poland’s PlusLiga, where he won the Polish Championship (2014) with PGE Skra Bełchatów and claimed multiple Polish Cups and SuperCups. Returning to his homeland in 2022, he led Ciudad Voley to third place in Argentina’s top league, further adding to his accolades, including two Argentine Championships and Cups in the 2023–24 season.
Internationally, Conte shone brightly, earning a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and numerous personal honors, including MVP awards.
