They arrived to Kamloops last Tuesday, Sept. 18th and on Wednesday evening they played one friendly match winning over Thompson Rivers University team 3-1. The revenge will take place this Thursday.
On Friday, the light blue – white team will move to Kelowna, where they will play two more friendly matches, against another university team from British Columbia. They will take place the same on Friday and then, Saturday.
Then, there will be time for the U 23 Pan-American Cup in an only pool with six teams playing round robin – all against all – from Tuesday, September 25th to Saturday, Sept. 29th in Vancouver. Argentina will face first Dominican Republic on the debut match to play afterwards with Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela and Canada. On Sunday, depending on the final ranking matches will be played for fifth, third and first place.
With most Juniors’ that won the silver medal at the Seniors’ Men Pan-American Cup held last July, this competition will be the final test for the South American Championship.
