This was the third consecutive victory of the girls, all in straigh sets showing their recovery after losing the first two matches v Colombia and Brazil that left them without chances of fighting a place at the 2013 Czech Republic.
The first two sets v Venezuela were a fight point by point. Venezuela got a wide lead on the second set but then Argentina found its momentum recovered to win that set and the third one by a great difference.
On the near future four of these light blue – white girls will be part of the Youth’s Girls South American Championship, to be held also in Peru, looking forward to a new World Championship.
Uruguay won the seventh place over Paraguay, 3-2. Brazil was the champion over Peru while Colombia won the third place over Chile to win their ticket for the World Championship.
