Simply, Thailand had no chance in this game. Zhu Ting & co. smashed the Thai girls in straight sets 25-19, 25-17, 25-13. The Olympic champions from 2016 have continued their domination in Asia, as well as in the world.
South Korea didn’t want to leave the tournament without a medal so they pushed to the limits in the third-place game against a great team of Japan, that gave a huge resistance. They also wanted a medal but in the end, South Korea took the win 25-18, 21-25, 25-15, 27-25.
