FIVB has chosen hosts for both Men’s and Women’s Asian Olympic Qualifier

The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) decided which countries will host the Asian Volleyball Olympic Qualifier, January 7-12.

The FIVB sent a letter to Volleyball federations of Thailand and China informing them of the decision to award them the organization of the Asian Qualifying Tournament for the Tokyo Olympic Games, on January 2020.

The FIVB has chosen the proposal of the Thailand Volleyball Association over Singapore’s when it comes to female competition. The city in which the tournament will be held is Nakhon Ratchasima.

At the same time, the Men’s tournament team will be played in Guangzhou, China, after Chinese Volleyball Association defeated Iran’s in a bidding process.
