In the final Japan outplayed Korea 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-19) and officially secured spot at FIVB World Volleyball Championship Boys’ U19 in Bahrain in August (18 to 27). As well as the next three places (top four teams): Japan, Korea, China and Iran.
China claimed bronze after overpowering defending champions Iran with a magnificent come-from-behind 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-19) victory in the third-place playoff.
