The club announced that the MR and CT scans showed that Thaisa suffered an injury in the ligaments of her ankle and a very small lesion in her cartilage. She will rest for three weeks with her ankle in a plaster splint, after which she will begin physiotherapy with an ankle restraining boot. At this stage, there is no indication that she will require surgery.
Recall that Thaisa suffered an ankle injury at the match against Fenerbahce in the 2016/17 CEV Champions League Playoffs 6 stage.
Stay strong Thaisa and get well soon!
