Ateneo University Lady Blue Spikers eliminated Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws in the semifinals of the UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) volleyball Final Four by a 25-22, 25-10, 16-25, 26-24. Thus, the team from Manila will appear in the Final for the sixth consecutive time mostly thanks to the receiver Michelle Morente, who scored 16 points. The Lady Blue Spikers will face defending champions De La Salle University Lady Spikers, who sent University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers home, in the gold medal series.
