First of all, we owe an apology to the one-time FIVB World League and a three-time CEV Champions League winner Żygadło for putting one of his statements in an interview that we published on July 8, 2017, which he did not say.
What happened was that our correspondent from Iran did not properly interpreted and wrote Żygadło’s words regarding the player’s offers he got this summer. Mr. Żygadło DID NOT SAY “I even got called to play with the Polish National Team, but I preferred to be here and compete in the Asian Club Championship with Sarmayeh Bank.”
Mr. Żygadło, because of this, we are very sorry for the inconvenience we caused you by misinterpreting your statement.
