Philippine Superliga: Petron squeeze out Foton from No.1, Anisova highlights Sta. Lucia’s win over Generika

Petron finished Preliminary Round of the Superliga Grand Prix with a straight-set win over Cocolife Asset Managers to skip Foton Tornadoes at the top spot in the rankings. Both No.1 contenders now have a 7-1 record but with Petron having one point more compared to Foton – 21 to 20. Still, in case F2 Logistics Cargo Movers achieve a three-point win in the Preliminary Round closing, on December 2, they will become the top seed for the playoffs and face No.8 in the quarterfinals.

The Ukrainian Bohdana Anisova poured in 25 points for the winning side while American Mar-Jana Phillips contributed with 6 kill blocks. As for Generika, an international from Trinidad and Tobago, Darlene Ramdin, made 20 points. Generika are safe at No.7 with 3-5 and 8 points.
