Henan vs. Sichuan
Jiangsu remained at the top of the Chinese League – Pool A standings with a 10-1 record and 29 points as they beat Guangdong by a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-19) on the road in Round 13. Zhang Changning topped Jiangsu with 14 points, while Jiang Qianwen added 5 kill blocks. The Cuban Nancy Carrillo scored 11 points for Guangdong while Bulgarian Eva Yaneva served 5 aces.
Henan won their first game this season after suffering as much as 10 defeats. They beat Sichuan, who are still winless, by a 3-0. Cai Xiaoqing poured in 22 points. Her teammates Li Peijia and Huang Ruilei made 5 kill blocks apiece. Ye Qi scored 16 for Sichuan.
Shanghai has an easy job against Hebei to stay isolated at the top of Pool B. In the absence of Korean star Kim Yeon-Koung, Zhang Yichan led Shanghai with 17 points.
Zhejiang upset Tianjin by a 3-0 with 24 points from Li Jing, while Beijing ended their 4-game losing streak by downing Yunnan thanks to 15 points each from Liu Xiaotong and Zeng Chunlei.
