According to Web Vôlei, the Russian superstar Tatyana Kosheleva asked her current club SESC RJ to be released from the contract earlier so that she could move to the club competing in the Italian Championship playoffs – Savino Del Bene Scandicci.
Unofficially, the outside hitter got consent from SESC, who finished the season in Brazil by being eliminated in the playoff quarterfinals to SESI Vôlei Bauru, and already applied for the work visa in Italy.
It is obvious that Kosheleva won’t be able to finish paperwork in time to make her debut for Scandicci in Game 1 of the 2018/19 Samsung Volley Cup A1 playoff quarterfinals against Èpiù Pomì Casalmaggiore knowing that it will be played tonight at 20:30 CET. But, since the registration deadline in Italy is April 12, she will get the right to play for Scandicci afterward.
Kosheleva still has two more months of contract with SESC, but the willingness of the Rio de Janeiro powerhouse to let her go to Italy is reasonable given that she did not have much of an impact to the team’s play as it was expected from a player of her quality.

Tatyana Kosheleva is/was Russia’s best hitter. Even Zhu Ting said she can hit over blocks. I hope Brazil releases her. Maybe Vakifbank can sign her for next season.
Her position outside-hitter is strange because she is more opposite than outside-hitter.
