In the tie-brek and on the road of a match valid for Round 9 of the 2020/21 Brazilian Women’s Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season, second-to-last Brasília Vôlei defeated, prior to this match, unbeaten Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde. Partially, it was 15-25, 25-16, 25-22, 16-25, and 15-13.
This was the first win and also the first two points that a team from the country’s capital earned this season. Despite the defeat, Osasco are the new leaders of the competition. By collecting one point, the São Paulo side overtook the top spot from Dentil/Praia Clube, who remained the only undefeated team in Superliga.
