The top seed Tianjin and second-seed Jiangsu swept their semifinal playoff series of the 2020/21 Chinese Women’s Super League.
In Game 2, Tianjin beat No.4 Guangdong by 3-0 again, partially 25-20, 25-11, and 25-14, entering the final for the 16th time. They will attack the 13th championship trophy. Tianjin’s Wang Yuanyuan scored a game-high 21 points (76 % attack; 13/17), including 6 blocks. Zhu Ting was amazing in reception (95 %; 67 % perfect).
In the second face-off, Jiangsu defeated third-seed Shanghai even easier than in the first game (3-0). They returned to the series for the title after four years. Zhang Changning top-scored Jiangsu with 26 points, including 4 blocks. Ni Feifan had 79 % reception (57 % perfect).
