BRA W: Three talented Brazilians for stronger Minas

Minas Tênis Clube announced three reinforcements for the Superliga 2013/14 campaign. The receiver Fernanda Kuchenbecker, the opposite Sthéfanie Tiele and the setter Giovana Gasparini.

Luiza Fernanda Kuchenbecker from Santa Catarina is 1.83 m tall and 21 years old and has defended colours of Pinheiros São Bernardo do Campo. The athlete was champion of Paulista in 2010 with Pinheiros, and in 2012 she was South American champion with the Youth Brazilian national team in the championship held in Lima, Peru.

The pointer/opposite Sthéfanie Tiele (1.91 me 20 years), played for Lavras Tênis Clube, Finasa Osasco, Sport Club Macaé, São Bernardo, Eregli (Turkey) and SC Schweriner (Germany). A player of Minas Gerais, natural the Lavras, has been world champion with the Junior and Youth national team of Brazil in 2009 in Thailand and twice South American champion in 2008 and 2010 in Peru and Colombia.

On the other hand, Giovana Gasparini (1.72 me 19 years), played for Jundiaí, Finasa Osasco and Grêmio Recreativo Barueri. The setter was South American champion with the Youth Brazilian national team in Peru in 2012, and placed third at the World Championships, held last June in the Czech Republic.
