The team led by Marcelo Ramos beat Clube Brilhante by 3 sets to 0, partial 25-14, 25-17 and 25-13, reaching 12 points in the first round and continuing strong in defending the state title.
“We have to stay focused in every game and to be able to repeat what we have done well. Team is good so it permitted me to make some changes, giving chance everyone to play,” said Marcelo, who gave the opportunity to Rafael, Pedro Henrique, Alê and Bozko during the game.
Voted as the best player on court, the setter Rafa said: “Gradually we will be better by living game situations and things will flow more natural. We are adapting to the players who arrived and work is being done well. We are evolving and over time it is important for the confidence to grow”.
