Maurício Thomas, who led from the bench teams like Brasil Telecom (in Brasília and in Brusque) and Sollys Osasco, and who is currently head of the Youth women’s national team of Brazil (since 2011), will coach the team that will compete in the Superliga from 2013/2014.

On Monday, the presentation of the team took place, and the squad will meet again after they move. Barueri (ex-Jacareí) was without a coach since the sacking of Robinho.

The entire team was in town in the Paraíba Valley and will move to Barueri, but the receiver Soninha chose not to continue the project. So, this is how the team from Grande São Paulo looks like:

Setters: Fernandinha, Erica Adachi,

Opposites: Renatinha, Duda,

Middle blockers: Renata, Fernanda Isis, Jessica Suelen,

Receivers: Cibele, Carol Won Held, Thais Barbosa,

Liberos: Thais Bruzza, Bel.
