All matches will be played in Vivo Minas at the JK Arena in Belo Horizon from February 19 to 23.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four and the top two teams of each group will advance to the semifinals.
The winner of the South American Championship will be guaranteed a place at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship to be held from May 6 to 11 in Betim, Brazil. Sada Cruzeiro, as the defending champion and host have already been guaranteed a seat.
Sada Cruzeiro‘s debut will take place against Nacional, Uruguay on Wednesday at 17:00.
