The London Olympics champion Adenízia Silva is another confirmed name for the Sesi Vôlei Bauru roster for the 2021/22 season.
Adenízia will stay in Sesi Bauru for the third successive season.
The Olympic champion from London 2012, and a four-time champion of the FIVB World Grand Prix and of the South American Championship thus probably put an end to her overseas club career given she is 34 years old. Last season, Adenízia ended among the top 10 blockers of the Brazilian Superliga, scoring 62 points from this element of a play.
Renewing with the one-time MVP of the South American Club Championship, and a one-time Best Blocker of the FIVB Club World Championship and the South American Club Championship, Sesi Bauru continued what they started with middle blockers Mayhara Francini and Mara Leão, outside hitter Suelle Oliveira, and opposite hitter Pamela Sanabio. At the same time, the team from the state of São Paulo engaged the country’s national team member Drussyla Costa, who came from Sesc RJ Flamengo.
