The historical men’s club volleyball champions of Bulgaria, Hebar Pazardzhik, strengthened their squad with one of the world’s best-ever liberos.
Bulgaria’s most successful ever libero Teodor Salparov arrived in the country’s reigning champions Hebar.
Thus, a 38-year-old player joined the third Bulgarian club in his utmost rich club career in which he won the CEV Champions League three times. This is a competition in which he was named Best Libero in 2015. Additionally, Salparov was awarded Best Digger of the 2012 London Olympics.
He came to the Pazardzhik-based side from Neftohimik 2010 Burgas, a club whose four-year domination was interrupted last season exactly by Hebar.
