Sesi Vôlei Bauru ran over Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde in the São Paulo classic valid for Round 18 of the 2021/22 Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship and confirmed the 3rd place in the charts.
In the direct confrontation for the 3rd position in the table of the 2021/22 Women’s Superliga, the ‘clássico paulista’, the team from the interior of the São Paulo state, Sesi Bauru, dominated the side from Greater São Paulo, Osasco, from start to finish. The ladies commanded by Rubinho won 3-0 and rehabilitated themselves for losing to Sesc RJ Flamengo a few days back.
With 14 points, American opposite hitter Nia Reed from Sesi Bauru was the highest scorer of the game. With the victory, Sesi Bauru went to 39 points and remained in 3rd place in Superliga. Osasco suffered the second consecutive defeat and follow today’s rivals a position below, in 4th, with 34 points.
