In a commanding performance, Sesc RJ Flamengo continued their unbeaten streak in the Brazilian Women’s Superliga BET7K by overcoming Sesi Bauru with a clean sweep of 3-0 (25-11, 25-22, 25-19) in the 15th round’s opener. Under the guidance of coach Bernardinho, Sesc RJ Flamengo not only secured their 14th consecutive victory but also solidified their position at the top of the leaderboard with 42 points, a significant nine points ahead of their closest competitor, Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde.
Veronica Jones-Perry, known as Roni, led the charge as the game’s highest scorer with 16 points, closely followed by teammate Sabrina Machado with 13 points. Despite Edinara Brancher’s 12 points for Sesi Bauru, Sesc RJ Flamengo’s overwhelming start and strategic substitutions by Bernardinho kept the opposing team at bay.
