Turkish volleyball giants Halkbank Istanbul have officially announced the addition of two players to their roster for the ongoing season, aiming to strengthen their team as they compete across three different competitions. The club has filled the vacancy in the setter position caused by Aslan Ekşi’s injury with the acquisition of Canadian setter Jay Michael Blankenau and the experienced Batuhan Duman. They will be included in the roster alongside USA setter Micah Ma’a.

The Canadian setter expressed his enthusiasm about joining Halkbank, highlighting his familiarity with some of the team members and his eagerness to connect with the team and its supporters in Ankara.
Batuhan Duman, the second addition to the setter position, played for various clubs across Turkey and internationally, including a stint in Iraq. Duman shared his excitement about joining a team with high aspirations in multiple competitions and is committed to contributing to the team’s success and furthering his development.
